The Legend of Zelda handheld games easier now?

Starting from Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages. In all of those games, you swing your sword in 90 degrees increments (like to the right of you, to in front of you). Also, your weapon selection is nice and big. On the Minish Cap, you're able to swing you're sword in 180 degrees increments (to the right of you, all the way to the left) which makes the game easier, but the weapons selection is still pretty good. But now, with the DS games, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit tracks, you can just tap an enemy with the touch screen, and it automaticaly hits the enemy. And the weapon selection? It's terrible, pathetic even, on Zelda standards. But you're thinking: "Oh, well its the DS, they should implement touch screen controlls." In my opinion, not if it makes the game ridiculously easy, and ruins the Zelda experience. So, do you think Zelda handheld games have gotten easier? And if so, how?

I've only had her for nearly two weeks. Recently, she hasn't been as active as she usually is, and she seems weaker and doesn't cling AS tightly as she usually does when being held. Now, she is about to shed, and I know that their behavior changes a little during this time period. Anyway, I've noticed that, since she entered her blue phase, the skin around her neck has been really loose. Also, there's always saliva coming from her mouth, but she doesn't wheeze. I assume that she's dehydrated and has a respiratory infection, but I'm not entirely sure. When we had ball pythons, I recall the skin around their necks appearing loose right before they shed. Is that normal? Also, is it normal for her to become less active before she sheds, and weaker? Also, how long does it take for her to start shedding after she goes into the blue phase? Her eyes had been clouded over, and now they've returned to normal. How much longer should it be before she sheds, assuming she isn't stressed or anything? I've been trying to keep the humidity up in her tank, as well as giving her soaks in room temperature water daily. I realize there's a lot of information here, but I'm just trying to make sure she's alright, and I don't want her to suffer due to my incompetence. If I've left out any information that could be helpful, please tell me. Is most of what's going on simply due to her shedding, except for the excess of saliva around her mouth? I have a friend, I only knew him through the internet, met him on a web journal site. for 3 years we web chatted, we got to know each other. I am 14 years old. Energy drinks and caffeine dont have effect on me, i dont get energized and it doesnt wake me up and i dont feel anything. Excel Formula Help please!?

I am working on a spreadsheet for work and its is for billing purposes. I want to be able to have excel calculate the total minutes between start and stop times for appointments but is there a way it can only count 15 minute increments? For example- Start Time: 1:30 Stop Time: 2:30 which is 60 minutes in between. At my work, we bill "ONE UNIT PER 15 minutes" so that 60 minutes equals 3 units. BUT here is my dilemma, excel is counting the minutes in between the two times just fine but when i divide by 15 it does not round down it rounds up. We cannot bill that way, so even if an appointment time goes over a few minutes but doesn't hit a 15 minute increment, we do not count it as a unit. So what i am looking for is a formula that counts every 15 minutes between times OR a way to get the total of minutes in between to equal multiples of 15 minutes. Co-worker pulled a knife on me?

I had just started working at this pallet company for 3 weeks and since the first week one of the other guys there took advantage and I think bullied me. He would have me grab him things a couple feet away from him, stuff he should be getting himself since that was part of his job and I was busy doing my own thing but i grabbed what he needed anyways. Then after a week his request became ridiculous like having me grab him sodas and he would for no reason kick my piles of trash and sawdust I had just swept up and tell me to "clean this S**T UP" he would put his hands on my food and other belongings like my cell phone. one day he put his hands on me and tried to be funny or look tough by putting my hand behind my back and push up like police do, that's when thins started to go down hill and I stopped doing what he would tell me to do and started to ignore him and he told me I have to start doing what he told me to do( He was no higher that me and he had just been working there for 2 weeks longer than me.) he then start throwing old gloves, that the coworkers rolled up into balls and throw them at co workers as a joke, I thought that was un professorial since we are working at a pallet company around nail guns and saws so me and this other guy had bad blood from the fist week. then one day my supervisor came up out of nowhere and put his hands on me and pushed me back out of the way almost making me trip on a step and pushing a stack of wood out of the way to turn the machine off... I couldn't hear him call for me ( if he was) since I had my protective hearing muffs on and my head phones on under those ( I had gotten permission from the same supervisor I could listen to music) that had made me angry that he pushed me out of his way and i started to hold that anger in me the next day I was working in my area when when the guy had came up put his hands on my ear muffs and pulled me out of the way from another machine I was aware of my surroundings and knew what was going on so I think it was just another reason to touch me, I then turned around and pushed the guy and told him to never put his hands on me ever again and stated to yell at him. later that same day we had a safety meeting and I left my water bottle behind and when i went to pick it up he got up and kicked it over, I went out to the parking lot to see this guy sitting down giving me dirty looks, I then Screamed " WHAT THE F**K ARE YOU LOOKING AT" he got up started to walk at me and said "what the F**k you just say to me" I thought there was about to be a fight so I dropped what I was holding and that's when he pulled knife on me I remained calm and planed my that I would start backing up keeping my distance then lunge at the knife but never did. eventually he put the knife away and I found out later that I had been fired for pushing him and he never got fired for pulling a knife on me since the bosses like this guy. Overall, the ACT is easier than the SAT if & only if your a concrete thinker & not a abstract/critical thinker... & basically, to sum this all up.. the ACT is alot like a high school exam.. but with more complex questions.. if your a good test taker the ACT will be a piece of cake, if not then.... hmmm.. i guess it won't!

Hey, Im 14 about to turn 15 but I have been smoking for the past 3 1/2 years and I quit about 10 weeks ago. The thing is - when I first started I would ignore the fact that me and my friends would smoke but I would get WAAY more stoned than them - and also that I would have these sudden rushes of sense and realization that would hit me as I got less stoned. Weed would blow my mind - BUT WAAAAY too much. As I got less stoned - my senses (taste, smell & just generally feeling there) would kick in and I would feel normal & 'back' again but as I gradually began smoking more heavily (during the 2nd and 3rd year) the time in between these realizations when I smoked (And I was smoking weed & cigs quite regularly) would increase in length until I would have to wait days then months and now it seems 10 weeks (and counting) before my senses would kick in. I feel so disociated - not upset or deppressed or even bored but I just feel not here. I want to have my senses back - all my mates say I should begin feeling like myself again and that it only takes 56 days for weed to leave your system but I feel mentally the same and also emotionally empty - feeling only weak happiness rarely and only sad or laughing but its not truely how I feel because I just dont feel in control. & I DO NOT feel anxiety. please, its been years since I have felt like I am actually here - HELP!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's got anything to do with having a weak character. I think there are several factors: how much you smoke a day (the more you smoke the harder it will be to give up), how long you've been smoking for (longer would be harder, more to do with the physical habit), how addicted you are. It's possible to smoke a lot for many years, and not to be that addicted. It sounds strange, but its to do with how different people's brains react to nicotine. Signs of being very addicted include needing to smoke as soon as you wake up, being unable to go without cigarettes for a couple of hours during work for example. Some people's brains are more highly rewarded with nicotine, leading to them becoming more addicted. I think motivation also comes into it, and also whether you actually really want to give up, which could be effected by how much of a risk you perceive smoking to be.

I am about 5'4 in height and hit the ball a decent distance but not enough to really put my self in good positions with longer courses. My drive will go about a max of like 260 250 but i really could use more off the tee as well as my iron shots, my iron distances are about as follows L-60 S-80 G-110 P-130 9-140 8-150 and then increments of about 10 going through a 5 iron then 4 and 3 hybrids and a 3 wood. I was a combat medic in an infamous detention facility in Iraq. It's been 4 years now since retuning home. There was no welcome home party. Just getting high and drunk with old friends. I come from an Asian household first generation and the two worlds don’t mix. My father had many harsh words after he found out that I went to the war front. Only losers and people without brains go and fight other people’s battles for pay. I was raised in the states since I was five today I’m 38 almost homeless if not for my parents garage. Everyday the job brings me back to the war and seeing the old folks at the con homes bring me down another notch. Everyday is blood and death all over again. I've gotten into troubles with the law and might be losing my job soon. I was never into smoking weed but more of a drinker. I didn’t work for the first 2 years living off of the deployment money. It was difficult trying to hang out with old friends. I couldn’t laugh at the same jokes or have a good time. The panic attacks are getting worst and I can not control my anxieties any longer. Everyday is so much harder to pretend that I’m perfectly fine and happy. I began withdrawing and isolating myself from the crowd and belief it’s starting to affect my thought processes. I’m having difficulty sleeping maybe because I’m worried all the time about this and that. But thanks to J&D it knocks me out just fine. When I do sleep I can stay in bed four a couple of days. In the 4 years, I’ve gotten in trouble with the law twice. Now the courts want me to go through group psychological counseling down at the VA. It’s getting harder and harder to wake up and face the day and thoughts of suicide run through my head constantly. My self esteem is at it’s lowest. I’ve thought about it and did some checking on google for a fast and painless way go. I found the Japanese suicide detergent thing by mixing two key ingredients to make the lethal gas or 00 buck shot up the roof of the mouth into the brain. It’s fast and painless. I will not leave a note behind because that to me is pointless at my age. Belief me when I say I've always strive to better myself in school as well sports. That's not always the answer. Is my emerging wisdom tooth likely to be what's causing my strange sinus issues at the moment?

For a little while I've been noticing my left upper wisdom tooth coming through. It hasn't caused me any major pain other than some sensitivity and minor discomfort until lately. For the past two days I've been spitting up phlegm in the morning that's specked with blood (I know that it isn't coming from my chest because I'm not coughing it up and I can feel it when sucking it down from my nose, as gross as that sounds). My nose isn't bleeding though, the mucus is clear when I blow my nose, it's just when I spit it out. At first I thought I had a cold, but I have no cold symptoms other than a slightly sore neck, my ears have been bugging me, and I've been having mild headaches in the region of my temples as well as my nose running on and off. I know that some of those symptoms are associated with wisdom teeth coming in, so I'm just wondering if the blood streaked phlegm could be due to a sinus infection or could possibly have something to do with my wisdom tooth affecting my sinuses?

First off, you need to stop doing activities that cause you to stress over them. It seems as though you have an OCD type stress that causes you to over think your situations. My PhD advisor is making my life hell.?

I'm currently doing my doctoral studies at one of the top engineering schools in the US. My advisor is a US citizen of Indian origin. His lab has over 80% Indian students and and the rest are Chinese including myself and some part-time American students. Everything was fine and under control until a year ago when my advisor started a software company and recruited people in our lab. He only asked foreign students like myself and said he could not pay us because we were not allowed to work for more than 20 hours per week on a student visa. He said he would pay us later and that this would be a great opportunity... might extend to a full-time job offer with sponsorship for a US visa. He went on to say that even if we say "No", we'd still have to help with research stuff in support of this commercial effort. And he said that if we don't join this effort, then we'd have to find a different thesis topic. I was already three years into my doctoral studies. I got scared and I was in majority... forced to join this commercial effort. Then, all sorts of problems started to emerge. He made our thesis work the lowest priority. He filled our schedules with this company work. He made us come to school every weekend. We wanted to submit papers to journals and conferences, but he left no time for us to do anything academic. Last one year was pure hell. We had to put in between 60 to 80 hours every week with no vacation time. He said regularly that he could not promise anything in writing because technically we were not supposed to work beyond 20 hours. Slowly, I became worried. I was moving further and further away from academic work. No publications. Nothing. Besides, with no promise of anything in writing, I had to completely rely on what he was saying... that he would pay us later. The problem is that he himself does not do much work. He only comes to some meetings and he'll either fall asleep or he only wants to hear that things are running fine and clients are satisfied. He's taking all the money right now. Recently he told each of us how much money we would be getting "later". I was literally shocked by this. He is giving each of us a small fraction of the company equity (less than 1%), and he plans to pay us less than half the average salary a fresh/new PhD graduate would get in our field, in industry. Some of us raised doubts and spoke to him only to learn that he is expecting us to join his company no matter what. He's reminded us that in case we decide to leave him, we would need to pick a different thesis topic not related to the research supporting this commercial product. All of us are four to five years into our doctoral studies. We are left with no choice. We are foreign students and we don't know where to go ask for help. This whole department and engineering college are full of Indian professors and they all know each other. I don't know what to do. One friend has decided to drop out of PhD program and just leave. I don't think I can do that... I don't want my four years of effort in graduate school to go into a waste bin. My parents will be devastated.

Dream interpritation part 2?

As I finally turn around from locking the gate I noticed the hyenas are walking around full and all thats left of the zebra is bones and skin, I noticed im on a wooden platform and its about 2 feet drop into the sand Im facing south and I noticed the sun is hotter, I also notice there are stainless steel bars rising out of the sand like huge monkey bars in the middle of nowear to my left about maby 150 yards away from the gate and platform im standing on I also notice straight ahead of me a pack of lions maby about 5 or 6 at about 300 yards away just walking in circles like if they were really hungry at this point a fear grows inside of me and I see climing the monkey bars as my only escape I decide to run towards them, as I see that out of the pack of lions a black panther emerges out and starts runing towards me to atack me I make it to the bars first and I start to climb at this point the panther is only a few feet away I feel im not climbing fast enough and the pantjer jumps and almost bites my foot. All of a sudden I relize im trapt in the middle of nowear and the sun starts to beat down on me hot. And I cant go no wear if I go down ill be eaten if I stay upthere ill die of heat. Okay i left a question yesterday and i think my gecko is impacted. He has a red/purple blob on his lower tummy, he wont eat, he's extremely weak and very thin. I've taken him to the vet before because he stopped eating (about 2 months ago) but recently he's been eating less. His head keeps twitching and his movement is very slow and abnormal. I have changed his substrate from sand to kitchen towels and been dropping water with lizard vitamins on his nose. I have also been advised to drop olive oil on his nose which i have done. Klonopin (Clonazepam) Withdrawal. HELP!?

I am not gunna go into detail so i'll make it simple. I was taking 1mg clonazepam everyday for about 3 months, basically the doctor has cut me off cold turkey and I am having pretty bad withdrawals. Dizzy, Nausea, Headache, Lack of sleep, No appetite, Bad Anxiety, Panic Attacks.. It's basically just hell. I don't know what to do. She gave me Lexapro but it has given me nothing but bad side effects plus the withdrawals I am already having. I'm not planning on going back to that doctor because they refused to give me Clonazepam which is ridiculous because they didn't taper me off. I am scheduled to make an appointment with a psychiatrist soon but I feel like I can't take it anymore. I seriously feel like I am losing my mind and I just feel so sick and weak.. I don't know what to do because Lexapro is not helping. My only hope is talking to the psychiatrist but even then, i'm not sure he will prescribe me the Clonazepam. Badminton question: What's the best backhand grip?

Well I have my forehand grip, or the "frying pan grip", and then there's that one grip where you use your thumb to make your backhand stronger. I don't really like this grip so I use the frying pan grip to hit all my backhands. But this makes it really hard to do a backhand smash (I really can't do one anyway, haha), and it's quite weak. A few hours ago i went to the emergency animal truck which is for low income clients & after giving my cat a few test's they explained they still cannot determine what my cat has swallowed. Occasionally my car won't start the first time, I wait 1-2 minutes and then it starts fine, why?

I have a 2004 Impala with approximately 81k on it, base with 3.4 v6. It has been doing this for at least a year and a half. Most of the time when I go the start the car its starts right up the first time with no hesitation. But every once in a while, maybe 1 out of 10 starts or 1 out of 20 starts it won't start the first time but if I wait a minute or two it starts fine. I am not doing anything wrong with when starting the car (I put the key in and turn it like everybody else does). When it does this I can hear the engine trying to start and then it dies. I never changed the fuel filter or spark plugs and my mechanic and other mechanics I have been going to have not told me my start is bad or weak or anything. Just to let you know this car has no special key and back in September of 2009 a few of my keys started acting funny in the ignition (i had to hold the key while turning and even then they got stuck sometimes, so I got rid of those and I have been using the keys that turn easily instead of risking damaging the ignition and the keys I use now that turn easily are more worn than the ones I got rid of, it makes no sense to me. Thanks for any advice.

when my younger sister buys clothes, she shows them off to my mum and my mum always says how nice they are and how she's becoming a lady, with me, when I buy something, I tend to never tell her but she knows when I buy something, she always asks "is that new?" I reply "yes, it is", and then she says "well, it doesn't suit you". When people say they think I've lost weight, my mum always says "well, people say you look like you've lost weight, but I can see bulges on your waist". If she insults me like that, clearly she doesn't care about me, so why can't she just chuck me out of the streets. These are just a couple of examples, there are plenty more where she looks at my weak points and insults me. I hate jealousy, if she's jealous of me, she's not a good mother at all, so what's the point of raising a child if you're a bad, insecure mother?

Why did my TV signal get weak and the networks change channels?

The next morning, when we turned it on, it could only find a few of the channels we had before. Some of them can be found by typing in the channel numbers, but most of the channels are different now, the local channels are static and the provider says it's something in the house, not in the line or service.

I am having a photographer come to our house and she told me on the phone months ago that she charges $100. When I called her a month ago to arrange the date she said her price is $150. I agreed and asked if I will be charged more if we go over her hour session. She said she wouldn't charge if it goes over but that one time she was at a person's house for 4 hours and she didn't want that. I assured that would not be the case. I know you say you love him and he is still very sweet, but it sounds to me like you aren't really emotionally invested in the relationship anymore. He betrayed your trust and he's going to have to work really hard to get that trust back, if it's at all possible. I think you will have those untrusting thoughts in your head for awhile. The fact that you are really socializing with his circle of people anymore says to me that you are scared of getting hurt like that again so you don't want to get to deep emotionally with him again because you don't want to feel that pain that you felt. You might want to look into couple's counseling so you guys can get your feelings out and work on building that trust back up. If that doesn't work, then I would say that the relationship needs to be over.

How can I get my dog to take his meds if he absolutely refuses to take them orally?

My dog has been bitten by something and his face, throat and chest have swollen. I have taken him to the vet where he was knocked out and the vet checked for a remaining sting. He could not find one and concluded that he may have been bitten by an adder. He has given him some meds but he refuses to take them. He is very, very weak and its been 4 days since he has eaten anything. He is drinking water. I was wondering if there is any place apart from his gums, where I can rub the meds in so that his body will absorb them. Okay, so I just got spammed with about 30 text messages to my Samsung Eternity from "1234567890@txt" something.com. The first message said "Trojan Virus Uploading", followed by about 20-30 messages of percentages in increments of 10, (i.e. 10%, 20%, 30%, etc), and some of the percentages were repeated. About 2 minutes later I was hit with another wave of about 10 more messages with percentage increments relating to what I had just deleted. I have internet service available to me, though I don't ever use it. My service provider is AT&T, and I've had the phone for about 2 years now without this happening. Any reasonable explanation as to why and how this occurred? Should I be concerned? Solutions? Thanks!

What to do about abusive caretaker?

I am physically disabled and completely financially dependant on my spouse. I can do many things around the house, but still need a lot of help with basic things such as putting clean dishes away, laundry, and some of the heavier, higher up things in my home. SSD cannot give me anywhere near enough money to live off of. My caretaker is my spouse and they belittle me, puts me down for my disabilties, questions my limitations, and overall just puts me down about my situation. I have offered as much help as possible, 'veI asked him to be nicer and he just gets mad and disappears for a couple days. He leaves me without money, food, or resources to get the things I may need. I know caretaking is very hard on someone and do everything I can to show I appreciate and love what he does for me. My depression is just getting so terrible, he makes me feel so much weaker than I already am. After being treated like that you don't want to do anything anymore. I'm desperate, I don't like divorces, but he refuses to work on the situation, and he treats me worse and worse over my limitations. I offered to throw out all my clothes but 5 mixable outfits so he'd have less to clean. We have gone to a couple of therapists, and whenever they suggest that I need a little support emotionally through my disability he just gets mad and won't go back. I've done everything I can but i'm financially and physically dependant on this person. I don't know what to do to escape.

Water damage cell phone!! Please help?

I discovered that my cell phone had water damage yesterday!! I dried it off and found out today that I had to emerge it in some rice to get the remaining water out. Your Surrogacy Mother Story?

To make a very long story short, My husband and I have suffered losing eight babies. Four of them were 1st trimester and the other four were second trimester. My last one ended at 22 weeks due to a incompetent cervix (weak cervix)/Preterm labor just like the other losses in my second trimester. I have had two failed cervical cerclage (cervical stitch). The last pregnancy with a cervical stitch damaged my cervix. I do know about a Trans abdominal cerclage but I am too afraid to try again. I am not able to handle the anxiety and stress while being pregnant and being afraid of losing my baby. I have no living children and I would really love to be a mother to our biological children. My husband and I have looked into adoption and will probably go that route one day. I have a very close friend who has offered to be a surrogate mother for my husband and I. My question is has anyone got a surrogate mother that they already knew instead of going through an agency to find you a surrogate? Where do I start? Where did you do and how much was the cost?
