Why can't I log into a website that has emerged from reconstruction?

I have belonged to a site called bootshare for many years and since reconstruction of the site I cannot login without getting a message that I have to validate my username and password. They supposedly are sending a validation e-mail that never ends up in my inbox or junk mail. I tried clearing my cache,cookies and browsing history and I still cannot log in. I also changed my username and password and still no results. Does anyone have any ideas?
