Digital food scale measures in increments of 1 gram help.?

I am looking to buy a digital food scale. It says it will measure in increments of 1 gram. I am wondering if it will read out something less than a gram but say like .5 grams or only can be 1 gram 2 gram and so on. I hope you understand what im trying to say.
