Trojan Virus on my Cell Phone?

Okay, so I just got spammed with about 30 text messages to my Samsung Eternity from "1234567890@txt" something.com. The first message said "Trojan Virus Uploading", followed by about 20-30 messages of percentages in increments of 10, (i.e. 10%, 20%, 30%, etc), and some of the percentages were repeated. About 2 minutes later I was hit with another wave of about 10 more messages with percentage increments relating to what I had just deleted. I have internet service available to me, though I don't ever use it. My service provider is AT&T, and I've had the phone for about 2 years now without this happening. Any reasonable explanation as to why and how this occurred? Should I be concerned? Solutions? Thanks!
